Range of rotary injection machines called cross-linking for cross-linked foam products.
The range of rotary injection machines called Cross-Linking offers interesting and profitable possibilities to the technology of moulding copolymers of Etylen-Vinyl-Acetate (granuled foam cross-linked EVA). Good results are reported in typical applications i.e. pram-trolley and bicycle wheels, energy absorbing bumpers, cross knee-guards, paddings, water buoyants for fishing nets, skyboot internal paddings, slippers, soles, etc.
Main characteristics are:
- Clamping unit run by piston or toggle, with force from 300 up to 800 KN.
- Electrical heating of thermal insulated moulds.
- Reciprocating screw with 2 thermoregulated heating zones, to maintain plasticizing process at temperatures lower than those for cross-linking and foaming agent decomposition processes.
- Process control run by a video PC unit, for setting, saving and visualizing all injection parameters: dosing, times, temperatures, speeds, pressures, back-pressures, alarms.
- Possibility of visualizing input and output real status, for a quick trouble diagnosis.
- Hydraulic system controlled by proportional valves.
System flexibility is offered by the possibility of moulding thermoplastic materials on same machine.
